A brief history of CPIS
CPIS was founded in 2005 by Roger Gamage, an experienced project and people manager and Certfified CMMI Instructor, to offer CMMI® training, CMMI® consultancy and CMMI® mentoring, as well as other project management and process improvement consultancy, training and assessment solutions tailored to the requirements of the clients’ businesses.
In April 2009 the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) accepted CPIS as an SEI Transition Partner for the CMMI® Product Suite, able to offer the authorised "Introduction to CMMI®" training course and CMMI® appraisals, as well as training in the CMMI-SVC and CMMI-ACQ constellations.
Along the way we have worked with and built strong co-operative relationships with specialist businesses and recognised experts that have allowed us to expand our services to offer training and consultancy in Project Management, Systems Engineering, Process Management and Improvement, and Organisational Structure and Culture. Based on these partnerships and our strong in-house expertise we are able to call on recognised experts in specialist areas such as CMMI®, TickITplus, Project Management, Requirements Engineering, Estimation and Measurement, Cultural Change, Agile and Lean Engineering etc. to support our services.
Now, in our twelfth year of helping our clients reach their performance and improvement goals, we are able to offer TickITplus training and mentoring, based on our founder, Roger Gamage's, participation in the International TickITplus Association's committee, and our close association with other TickITplus experts.
